Positive Vibes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring boys to emerge as strong leaders in their communities through mentoring, open and honest dialogue and exposure to the endless possibilities available through the power of positive thinking. At Positive Vibes, we celebrate the innovation and energy of the so-called “bad kids,” and believe that through the guidance to positively refocus this energy, these same youth have the potential to lead and succeed.

The organization was founded by Mr. Arlen D. Griffin in 1993, several years before launching his successful career as a nationally-known comedian and radio personality. Since its inception, Positive Vibes has impacted the lives of hundreds of youth in the greater Los Angeles area, Metro-Atlanta and beyond.

Mission
Our mission is to “Make One Leader At A Time” among boys ages 9-18 by promoting academic achievement, encouraging personal development, allowing second chances and providing inspiration through exposure to various career paths and positive community leaders.
